Reservation/Resort Policies

At Val-e-Vue Resort, it’s our goal to make your stay a memorable and relaxing experience. The following policies were designed to help meet that goal. If you have any additional questions about our family & pet-friendly lodging accommodations at Lake of the Ozarks, please feel free to contact the resort directly at 573.873.5068. The office hours are 9 am – 6 pm. Please call during these hours for all non-emergency questions.

Check In / Check Out
We have several options for check-in for you. Free check-in is from 2-4.  If there are several units needing turned that day, your unit may not be ready be 2:00, but all units are guaranteed by 4:00 pm.  If you would like to check in between 12:00 and 2:00 there is a $40.00 extra charge. Please let me know if you are wanting a earlier check-in. ABSOLUTELY NO CHECK-INS BEFORE NOON. If you are used to coming early and want to put your boat in and go fishing, that is allowed, otherwise please adjust your arrival time accordingly. Check out time is 10:00 am. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we deem necessary and to request that a guest staying at the resort leave if a situation becomes problematic. Guests on property at Val-e-vue Resort or Montego Bay Marina, using any facilities thereof, equipment, docks, ramps, boats, wave runners, paddle boards, water toys, rooms or contents thereof or anything associated with either business does so at their own risk and responsibility.

Deposits
We require a 50% deposit on all reservations by check, credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Amer Express) or money order for each unit reserved. Your verbal request will secure your reservation request until accepted by Val-e-Vue Resort and a deposit is received within 7 days of reservation. If you book within 48 hrs. of your arrival, please call to tell us you booked.

Cancellations
All reservations cancelled within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable. If notice of cancellation is received prior to 30 days, refunds are solely at manager’s discretion. If a refund is issued, then a 10% cancellation fee will apply, whether cash or credit, no exceptions. There is no refund for early departures or late arrivals – you are responsible for the nights you reserved.

Or if you prefer a more personalized service or have questions, call us at 573.873.5068 to reserve a cabin. Phones will be answered up to 8:00 p.m. Holiday weekends – Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day require a three-night stay. There are periods during July that a less-than-a-week-stay is available, but please contact for manager’s approval prior to booking. All units require a 2-night minimum stay. One-night stays allowed only with permission of manager, please call prior to booking.

Rates
All posted rates do not include taxes, boat slips, extra people, misc charges or pets. A tab can be ran and added to your bill during your stay for other items such as boat rental, gas, fishing bait, ice cream, snacks, ice or products and souvenirs from the office.

WIFI

Free WIFI is offered at the resort, it IS NOT GUARANTEED in any unit or cabin.  If you need Wi-Fi for work or other things please bring your own hot spot.

Gift Certificate Reservations
For cancellation within 30 days of reservation, rescheduling will be permitted only if cabin can be rebooked. Otherwise you will forfeit your gift certificate. We will make every effort to rebook your unit. If we are successful, you can reschedule your gift certificate visit. Gift certificates must be used 1 year from purchase and there is no cash refund for any reason.

Smoking/Damage
Smoking is allowed outside only. No smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed inside the cabins or condos. There is a $200.00 fee if our smoking and pet policies are disregarded. This fee also strictly applies to units that are left damaged, unnecessarily dirty, or with destroyed property.

Quite Time
We do ask that you observe a quiet time from 10:00 pm on. We have a wide range of guests and schedules and want to ensure that everyone enjoys their stay. Quiet time does not mean you cannot be out and about the resort, but loud music, overly loud conversations, doors slamming or dogs barking are a few examples of unacceptable noise.

FIREWORKS

No fireworks are allowed on the resort property at any time, including July 4th.

SWIM DOCK 

-No fishing is allowed on the swim dock. This is for bare feet, small children and others who are not fishing.  DO NOT take chairs from the cabins and condos to the swim dock.  The chairs on the swim dock are chained down for a reason.

GRILLS

All grills – gas and charcoal – are to be kept off the decks and away from the sides of the cabins.  ALL ASH from grills need to be taken to the metal trash dumpster. PLEASE do not dump ash in the grass, in the rocks around the cabins, in the flower beds or anywhere else but the metal trash dumpster (located behind the pavilion on the blacktop road). No using grills inside the pavilion area where the concrete is.  Please use grills and oil fryers in the rocky area between the pavilion and the fire pit.

CHECK OUT REQUIREMENTS

At the end of your stay we ask that you take your trash out to the metal dumpster behind the pavilion. Please do all dishes. Clean dishes can be left in the strainers. You do not need to strip any beds. Please leave units as clean as possible to the way you arrived to it.

PET POLICIES

– Being animal lovers ourselves it’s our goal to ensure the safety of all furry friends that come to visit. We have a few simple rules that we insist on for the benefit of all. Please let us know at the time of your reservation if you will be bringing a pet. A maximum of 2 pets per unit allowed. You must pick up after them no matter the size of your pet, and pets must be on a leash when walking around the resort.

  • Pets are allowed in the individual cabins only – 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
  • Pets are an additional $30.00 per pet per night-max 2 pets per unit.
  • Pets are not to be left unattended all day in the cabins.
  • Pets must be on a leash walking around the resort.
  • You must pick up after your pets – ALL SIZES OF DOGS INCLUDED, EVEN SMALL DOGS.
  • We prefer pets to stay off the furniture, however if you are going to let your pet on the furniture, would you please cover it with a blanket.
