Reservation/Resort Policies
At Val-E-Vue Resort in Camdenton, Missouri, it’s our goal to make your stay a memorable and relaxing experience. The following policies were designed to help meet that goal. If you have any additional questions about our family & pet-friendly lodging at Lake of the Ozarks, please feel free to contact the resort directly at 573.873.5068. The office hours are 9 am – 6 pm. How much money do I have to deposit to reserve?
When can I cancel and get my deposit back?
Is your booking calendar up to date?
Yes. With our real time online booking system, you can always check availability. If the calendar shows an open room, it is available. It’s easy to make your reservation – click here. Or if you prefer a more personalized service or have questions, call us at 573.873.5068 to reserve a cabin. Phones will be answered up to 7:00 p.m. Holiday weekends – Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day require a three-night stay. All units require a 2-night minimum stay. The lake house has a 3-night minimum. One-night stays are allowed only with permission of the manager, and there is a $50.00 extra fee. Please call.
What do the Rates include?
What are the gift certificate reservation policies?
For cancellation within 30 days of a reservation on a room using a gift certificate, rescheduling will be permitted only if the accommodation can be rebooked. Otherwise you will forfeit your gift certificate. We will make every effort to rebook your unit. If we are successful, you can reschedule your gift certificate visit. Gift certificates must be used 1 year from purchase, and there is no cash refund for any reason.
Resort Policies
What are the check in/check out times? Can I check in early?
We have several options for check-in for you. Free check-in is from 2-4. If there are several units turning that day, your unit may not be ready by 2:00, but all units are guaranteed by 4:00 pm. If you would like to check-in between 12:00 and 2:00 there is a $40.00 extra charge. Please let me know if you are wanting an earlier check-in.
ABSOLUTELY NO CHECK-INS BEFORE NOON. If you are used to coming early and want to put your boat in and go fishing, that is allowed, otherwise please adjust your arrival time accordingly.
Check-out time is 10:00 am. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we deem necessary and to request that a guest staying at the resort leave if a situation becomes problematic. Guests on property at Val-E-Vue Resort or Montego Bay Marina, using any facilities thereof, equipment, docks, ramps, boats, wave runners, paddle boards, water toys, rooms or contents thereof or anything associated with either business does so at their own risk and responsibility.
What are the check-out requirements?
Do you have WI-FI?
Free WI-FI is offered at the resort, it IS NOT GUARANTEED in any unit or cabin. If you need Wi-Fi for work or other things, please bring your own hot spot.
Where can I smoke?
Smoking is allowed outside only. No smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed inside the cabins, condos or the lake house. This includes medical devices of any kind. There is a $200.00 fee if our smoking and pet policies are disregarded. This fee also strictly applies to units that are left damaged, unnecessarily dirty, or with destroyed property.
Is there a quiet time?

Do you provide grills?
Yes, we have charcoal grills. You will need to bring your own charcoal. All grills – gas and charcoal – are to be kept off the decks and away from the sides of the cabins. ALL ASH from grills need to be taken to the metal trash dumpster or put in the ash cans provided. Please make sure the ash is not hot before putting ash in the dumpster. PLEASE do not dump ash in the grass, in the rocks around the cabins, in the flower beds or anywhere else but the metal trash dumpster (located behind the pavilion). No grills may be used inside the pavilion area where the concrete is-electric cookers are ok. Please use grills and oil fryers in the rocky area between the pavilion and the fire pit.
Pet Policies
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Being animal lovers ourselves, it’s our goal to ensure the safety of all furry friends that come to visit. We have a few simple rules that we insist on for the benefit of all. Please let us know at the time of your reservation if you will be bringing a pet. A maximum of 2 pets per unit is allowed. No matter the size of your pet, you must pick up after them, and pets must be on a leash when walking around the resort.
- - Pets are allowed in the individual cabins only – 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & the lake house
- - Pets in the cabins are an additional $30.00 per pet per night-max 2 pets per unit. The fee for the lake house for pets is $50.00 per pet per night.
- - Pets are not to be left unattended all day in the cabins.
- - Pets must be on a leash walking around the resort.
- - You must pick up after your pets – ALL SIZES OF DOGS INCLUDED, EVEN SMALL DOGS.
- - We prefer pets to stay off the furniture; however, if you are going to let your pet on the furniture, please cover the furniture with a blanket.
